A collection of hand-block printed sarees
A collection of hand-printed sarees for the 'Dastkar' exhibition 2015 in collaboration with 'SRIJANI'.
The project was done in collaboration with textile designer, Kanishka Kumari.
is an NGO working for the upliftment of the women artisans in Patna, Bihar. The idea behind the project was to introduce a range of chic block-printed sarees in the collection to be showcased at the 'Dastkar' exhibition in New Delhi. This spring-summer collection comprised of light weighted kota-doriya and cotton-khadi sarees printed with muted colours following minimal layouts.
